“We moved into a traditional 1800s farmhouse a few years ago and have been gradually renovating it ourselves, aiming to preserve its character while making it a more comfortable and space-efficient family home. As part of this, we wanted to create a new bedroom by combining several large cupboards, add an en-suite and reduce the size of a spare room.
