Seaside Home Renovation in Elie, Fife

Jones Robbins Tobin undertook the renovation of this seaside home in Elie, Fife, reshaping it to support contemporary living while responding carefully to its coastal setting.

The design reorients the house southward, introducing expansive glazing that draws natural light deep into the plan and strengthens the relationship between interior and garden. Living spaces unfold with clarity and ease, creating a sequence of calm, light-filled rooms that open directly onto sheltered outdoor areas.

Environmental ambition underpins the project. Fabric upgrades, improved thermal performance and thoughtful detailing enhance comfort and efficiency while maintaining a restrained architectural expression suited to its setting.
