Our approach to residential architecture is shaped by people, place and purpose.

We’re residential architects based in Edinburgh, working across Scotland and the UK. Our approach begins with listening: understanding how you live, how you want to feel in your home and how the architecture should respond to its setting.

We design from the inside out, creating a careful dialogue between client and architect, building and landscape, heritage and contemporary life.

There is no signature style. Instead, every home is shaped by its own context, ambitions and opportunities, approached thoughtfully, rigorously and with care. Good architecture should feel inevitable, not forced.

We pair thoughtful residential architecture with professional rigour and highly responsive service.

Design & Service
On Equal Footing

Beautiful homes should never come at the expense of a well-managed process.

From feasibility through to construction, we prioritise clarity, momentum and transparency so our clients can enjoy the journey as much as the outcome.

Responsive, Reliable Communication

Architecture is complex. The experience of it should not be.

We work in small, dedicated teams and respond within 48 hours, maintaining momentum and giving our clients clarity at every stage.

Tools
That Empower

We use technology deliberately.

VR walkthroughs, 3D modelling and structured cost checkpoints are practical tools that help our clients understand their homes, explore possibilities and make informed decisions with confidence.

Sustainability is not an aesthetic choice. It is a responsibility.

Every home we design will shape its environment for decades. Our role is to ensure it performs efficiently, adapts over time and remains valued long after completion. We prioritise long-term performance over short-term trends.

Our team includes a certified Passivhaus Designer, bringing rigorous knowledge of building physics, energy modelling and low-energy construction to our residential work. While not every project seeks formal Passivhaus certification, these principles inform our approach to homes across Scotland and the UK.

Sustainable performance is considered from the outset, informing orientation, massing and construction strategy before the finer details are resolved.

Contextual
Materiality

Durable, low-impact materials selected for longevity and their relationship to place.

Passive Environmental
Strategy

Orientation, form and the building envelope are carefully considered to reduce energy demand naturally.

Energy Performance & Building Physics

Rigorous building science helps us create comfortable, efficient and resilient homes designed to perform for decades.

Our thinking carries through to every stage of your project.

Our process turns these principles into a clear, structured journey, from the earliest conversations and feasibility work through planning, technical design and construction.
